Zeoliet
Born 1981 died 2002 - 172 cm bay

Zeoliet combines two of the greatest Dutch jumping lines, his sire was the great Ramiro, while his dam was by the influential Thoroughbred, Abgar.
Zeoliet’s dam, Sargab was declared ‘preferent’ (this title is awarded to a mare if her offspring reach certain conformation standards) at the age of ten, making her the youngest ‘prestatie’ mare in The Netherlands.
Along with these ‘new’ sires, Zeoliet carries the older Groninger blood through the mare, A. Gonnie, by Nimrod.
At his performance test in 1984, Zeoliet was a star scoring 9.2 for dressage, 9 for jumping, and 9.5 for freejumping. He went on to compete in stallion jumping classes with Henk van den Broek, and with success in dressage up to ZZ level, with Rianne Laarakkers.
He was a successful sire, and a genuine all-rounder, producing both jumping and dressage horses for a breeding index of 118 for jumping and 128 for dressage. He produced a number of international level showjumpers including Easy Boy, (Phillippe Leoni) and Bay Networks Escudo (Stefan Lauber). Altogether he is represented by 11 jumpers in the WBFSH standings and is rated 50th on the 2001/2 standings, and 40th for the period 1992/2001.
He produced the dressage horses, Dotato (Michael Barasone), Star Fortune (Per Waaler) and Excel (Dennis Callin), as well as the approved stallion sons, Elcaro and Eusebio.
Zeoliet was jointly owned by his breeder W. J. Eykenboom and the famous stallion ‘stander’ H. J. Nijhof. For the final two years of his life, the stallion stood in the United States at Shooting Star Farm.
